Reload is a sample library import and conversion utility from Propellerhead Software AB (now Reason Studios) designed to bring third‑party sample collections into Reason. It converts popular sampler formats—most notably Akai S1000/S3000 and SoundFont 2—into Reason‑ready NN‑XT and NN‑19 patches, with the option to package the results as ReFills for easy organization and distribution. Reload preserves keymaps, velocity layers, loop points, and other essential parameters wherever possible, making it a practical tool for migrating legacy libraries into modern Reason projects.

Key features:

• Reads directly from Akai‑format sample CDs and SoundFont 2 files
• Converts programs into NN‑XT and NN‑19 patches, with optional ReFill creation
• Maintains key ranges, velocity splits, loop points, and basic modulation settings where supported
• Supports batch processing for faster library migration

Note: Reload is a legacy tool and may not be officially supported on current operating systems. Reason now includes broader, built‑in import options, but Reload remains useful for moving older Akai and SoundFont content into Reason’s ecosystem.
